Disinhibited Social Engagement Disorder (Dsed)

A rare attachment disorder that typically develops in children who have experienced severe neglect or institutional care in early childhood. Children can exhibit overly familiar behaviour with strangers, lack appropriate social boundaries, and may wander off without checking back with caregivers. Early intervention and stable, nurturing caregiving relationships are essential for improving outcomes in children with DSED.
